UAS Flight Log, aka tested.com
If you are a UAS user, aka drone, or any unmanned flying gizmo, then you need these notebooks! Professional, or hobbyist!
These "Flight Logs" originated from Mythbusters host Adam Savage who originally unveiled a home-made Field Notes notebook he’d customized for logging flights on his show. Once Field Notes became aware of this, they immediately wrote to Tested.com (Mythbusters) co-founders Will Smith and Norman Chan to offer their services. In a flash, Adam sent scans of his original mock-up. Field Notes goal, make a Flight Log that was useful for all Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) users, regardless of model or specialty.
They studied regulations and equipment and reached out for input from other professional UAS users to ensure their Flight Log memo books would be useful for professionals and hobbyists alike. After months of collaboration, research, and design, they produced a 48-page Flight Log that lives up to the Tested.com and Field Notes names:
This Flight Log has space for 23 flights’ worth of data, including locations, weather, frequencies, battery usage, and much more, including per-flight, launch, and post-flight checklists. There is space to record the specs of your UAS and room for notes. Inside the back cover, you’ll find common-sense flight guidelines. Whether you’re a hobbyist, photographer, videographer, in law enforcement, or on military missions, you can count on these books to keep your flights organized!
The books feature 50# Finch Opaque text-weight paper with French Paper Co.’s 80# Butcher Extra Blue cover, and are designed specifically for UAS users!
If you have a drone, or any Unmanned Aerial System, THESE ARE THE UAS FLIGHT LOG BOOKS TO OWN!
